Mission: RescueLIFE
reach...rescue...restore...

Mission: RescueLIFE is the newest area of emphasis for LIFE Outreach International with a goal to reach, rescue and restore children who are targeted by human traffickers and the global sex trade industry.
James and Betty Robison consider this mission effort to be a big part of LIFE’s ongoing ministry and missions’ efforts in the coming years. It joins other ministry outreaches, such as Mission Feeding, LIFE Centers, Homes for LIFE and Water for LIFE, as a primary ministry outreach around the world.
Mission: RescueLIFE began in Thailand in 2008 with the "House of Destiny," and now expands to India, Romania and Cambodia, with the goal of reaching an initial 2,000 children impacted by the horrors of human trafficking. In 2010, we hope to establish a LIFE Center in Thailand dedicated to helping women and children find new hope in a new life.
LIFE's efforts include ministry on multiple levels:
- Prevention. Going into the villages where human traffickers target young girls and providing food and other basic needs, removing one of the primary reasons that families sell their children into slavery.
- Direct Outreach. Ministering to young people on the streets who are forced to sell their bodies, encouraging them with the good news of Christ and providing some with a new home while they transition out of the sex industry.
- Restoration. Returning children's hearts, minds and bodies to the innocence they deserve, while providing materials and counseling to help overcome their shame and restore their childhood.
The horror of human trafficking is real, but love can make a difference through Mission: RescueLIFE.
Based on the overall cost of the program and the number of children we are able to reach, $128 will help RESCUE A CHILD from a life of sexual slavery.
Gifts of $32 or $64 can be combined with other partners to help rescue a child.
$256 will help reach two children.
$1280 will help rescue 10 children and offer them the promise of a brighter future.
