Water for LIFE Goal: $4,800.00 Achieved: $5,180.00 WATER - The Gift of LIFE Each year 3.4 million people, mostly children, die from water-related diseases; that is one person every eight seconds. In Africa alone, 85 percent of all illnesses in children under 5 are caused by waterborne diseases. No matter the country or continent, water is the most precious gift. Water shortage and water contamination is a growing global problem, yet in most cases the answer is right beneath their feet. Each well is placed in a strategic area to provide an average of 1000 people with clean water at an average cost of $4800. For these who have access only to diseased and dirty water, the gift of clean water is a gift of life!

March 21, 2004 - April 17th, 2008

Christina was born with severe hydrocephalus and we were told that she would not live more than a few days and if she did live, would not be able to walk, run, speak or do things on her own. By the grace of God she lived 4 beautiful years and did all of these things and more. In that time she touched and inspired so many people. They would see her smile and feel special but wouldn’t know why. It was God’s love they saw through her. We miss her dearly but know she is in heaven smiling, laughing and dancing as she did here on earth.
