Hunger for the Hungry My name is Jo Beth Latimer and I have been overweight most of my life. Through much prayer I have begun to loose weight God's way, by only eating when I am hungry and stopping when I become full. It has been tearing at my heart that Children would feel hunger and that they may never feel full. I have started a new idea. A weight loss a thon. I have a doctor who weighed me on April 27 and will do so again on July 31st. He will verify my weight loss. I am looking for Sponsors... I have started getting sponsor to donate to the feeding program that for every pound I loose they will give to the feeding ministry. Some have donated a dollar a pound other 5 dollars a pound. My goal is to loose 35 pounds by July 31st. I already have several sponsors. I want to make a difference. Realizing every bite I don't eat will help someone be fed is my inspiration. |

The staple of LIFE's Mission Feeding program this is a vitamin-enriched nutritional soup mix endorsed and often used by the World Health Organization.
Global conditions and food shortages have made our presence in Africa all the more essential. We have been feeding 425,000 children each month, but this year we will add 75,000 more children as Mission Feeding moves beyond our current areas of ministry in Angola, Mozambique, South Africa and parts of southern Sudan.
